Stimulating a creative dialogue between the arts and social issues
About
Fiatlux develops and produces art and media projects with an interdisciplinary and socially engaged character. Our focus lies on innovative forms of dialogue between the arts and social disciplines to provide new insights that are relevant to our societies.
The foundation aims at bringing social, (inter-)cultural and international themes and stories alive in a creative, and innovative way by focusing on its three pillars: think, meet & make.
So we launch inspiring interdisciplinary art projects that make people reflect on social and cultural topics, that allow them to meet diverse groups, and/or that allow them to learn and develop their talents and skills.
With an eye for adventurous, unconventional contemporary art and new art forms, the foundation has three program lines for the coming years (2023-2026): cultural heritage, nature and global issues. A brief description of these lines of action can be found in its policy plan (in Dutch). Also available are Fiatlux's latest report of activities, its annual account (2022), and remuneration policy.
Fiatlux has the status of cultural ANBI (Public Benefeit Organisation), which gives extra tax benefits to its donors.
